"From Your Mouth" Vinyl 12" Single.
Got this and "Life in the So-Called Space Age" on vinyl recently after deciding to get a dedicated turntable stereo set up not long ago. Has anybody else heard the cut of "Flies on the Windscreen" from this vinyl release? It's identical to the "For The Masses" DM tribute CD version, except for a ...

Listening to "Inside" this morning.
It was a nice reminder of how good David could be when left to his own devices. The songs manage to be both sparse and dense at the same time, which speaks well to the craft behind them.
Can't believe that record is already creeping up on eight old. On sort of a down note, it's also a reminder that ...

Re: How Humans R(x) technical updates
"Love Will Complicate": I'm guessing David did vocals for the entire song as a guide for Brittany to refer to? It would make sense. Now the obvious, somewhat catty question: is removing Brittany a slight against her performance, or more of an attempt to put more David on the album?

Re: lyrics... mistakes?
Just popping in here, randomly, as I'm wont to do on occasion.
A few things I hear differently:
Chorus to "My Til Tomorrow":
you know it's just what I wanted
it's something we can't have
you know we're really something
in love but always sad because
I wanted you forever
and so did you, some day ...

It does. That sounds like a promising track indeed.

I'm right there with you. I told the poor guy I was going to order the package shortly and then my wife lost her job and we're still playing catch-up. I will order it eventually.
That version of "All Wrong" (WAAF acoustic) is an old favorite.

Awesome. Can't wait to get this (but I will). I always thought it was neat that David re-did some Fluzee songs for this record.

Actually, it's tomorrow (or today, since I wrote this pretty late on Tuesday). I'm very optimistic as the rehearsals (one of which is up at my Myspace) have gone pretty nicely. I'll keep you posted, and we'll see how fast I can mix and upload.

That record keeps popping up in my Amazon recommendations. Maybe I really should just toss a few bucks out and snatch up a copy.

One dollar for the rights to the album recordings. WOW.
Also: I wonder if RuffNation would have gone under had David lived and the album made it to press.

Re: Any requests?
So, because of the Presidential debates, I moved the show back a month to 11/12. So somewhere shortly after then is when tracks will appear. A couple of replies:
Yes, there is a song from that compilation called "Lost", but check again. There were two tracks made for "Heavy", and the other is ...

Oh, I agree. Don't get me wrong. I'm just cynical enough about this sort of thing that I am surprised that this is coming to pass.

Re: How Humans R(x) on the road to getting released...
All things considered, I'm amazed that this is happening. The only way I could have seen this being released in any form at all that would be commercially viable would be to have Jeff Turzo do some production work on it and call it the final GLU album (and how much bank that would even have is ...

Re: Any requests?
I think that's the Heavy song, "Lost." If I remember correctly, David wrote that one about a commercial airline flight crashing on a mysterious Pacific island. Good tune.
