It was a nice reminder of how good David could be when left to his own devices. The songs manage to be both sparse and dense at the same time, which speaks well to the craft behind them.

"Love Will Complicate": I'm guessing David did vocals for the entire song as a guide for Brittany to refer to? It would make sense. Now the obvious, somewhat catty question: is removing Brittany a slight against her performance, or more of an attempt to put more David on the album?

Just popping in here, randomly, as I'm wont to do on occasion.

A few things I hear differently:

Chorus to "My Til Tomorrow":

It does. That sounds like a promising track indeed.

I'm right there with you. I told the poor guy I was going to order the package shortly and then my wife lost her job and we're still playing catch-up. I will order it eventually.

That version of "All Wrong" (WAAF acoustic) is an old favorite.

Awesome. Can't wait to get this (but I will). I always thought it was neat that David re-did some Fluzee songs for this record.

Actually, it's tomorrow (or today, since I wrote this pretty late on Tuesday). I'm very optimistic as the rehearsals (one of which is up at my Myspace) have gone pretty nicely. I'll keep you posted, and we'll see how fast I can mix and upload.

That record keeps popping up in my Amazon recommendations. Maybe I really should just toss a few bucks out and snatch up a copy.

I think that's the Heavy song, "Lost." If I remember correctly, David wrote that one about a commercial airline flight crashing on a mysterious Pacific island. Good tune.
