The CD itself is actually painted graphics, not a sticker, the music sounds great, and the insert printwork is great too.

Here is the company: http://kunaki.com/

Here is my brother's CD. Click "ROTATE CASE" button on the top left of the screen to see the rest of the case, etc.., http://kunaki.com/Sales.asp?PID=PX00Z9992P

PS. The reason why when you look at his CD on the site that it says $5.99 is because that is what my brother decided to charge for the CD. To make the CD it's $1.75 each (made to order, no minimum, etc..,)

that actually doesn't sound like a bad deal. i might try it next time.
I was really shocked when I got my CD. It looks exactly like what you would get in the store. Shrink wrapped and everything!

I'm really looking forward to the tribute CD and holding physical copies in my hand along with 'How Humans Rx'.
If we prepay/preorder would it help?
Because it seems like both releases aren't going to happen.
The frustration with being a GLU fan is being promised forever and never delivering.
I'd almost rather have had someone tell me straight up that "Up Off the Floor" IS NOT F-ing coming OUT!! Then to have waited 5-6 years for it in agony.

well, at this point this is all I can say:

-spoke to Gretchen yesterday about How Humans R(x), she recieved the final master copy that I sent her last week... I am 99% positive that this album will be released in some format over the next year (ie physical CD, or iTunes only or something like that) but I can gaurantee you, you WILL be able to own a copy of the album shortly.

-with the Tribute CD: not in my hands, never was... I wish I could answer for Randy. I am in the same boat with you in regards to that CD, sitting back and waiting also.

all the money gets sent to a college fund for Billy... that was part of the deal with the Mantis Package...

I told Randy to send me 1 copy of the Tribute cd and I will start running copies off myself just to satisfy all the people who have already paid for it... I never heard back from him.

Okay. #### it. It is now a week away from December 2009. That's 4 years after its initial conception.

Nothing is going to come of this financially, obviously.

Let's just put this #### thing up for download.

No more putting it off for stupid reasons.

Yes, Brian,I understand that you have people that pre-ordered it, but seriously, If I had, I would already feel ripped off. Waiting isn't doing anything for us.

I agree completely!!!! In fact, I tried to get Randy to send me the tracks just so I could mail all the people who pre-ordered it a burnt copy of it to tide them over, but even THAT fell on deaf ears.
