Randy's band, Methodical, and my band, Transpose, are playing a show together in July in FL so I am sure we will have a lot to discuss at the show...
I would like to make the tribute cd an option with the book...we have Gretchen's blessing with it so I dont see why it cant be released with the book.
that would kick ass, i would kill to see it = here is a REALLY REALLY bad version of what i want to make, i just need a high rez wide image like it

here is a list of that i have tracked down, and/or were sent to me by the artists or randy:
Eddie Kruger: Intro
asamorris: from your mouth
Nathan Leigh: all wrong
Nasa Travel Agency: No more love
Mezzanine: Slip to fall
dave grega: 23
those are the only ones i know of, although i Know that there are about 10 more altogether.
if you actually want to move forward with this, i am going to redo my FYM cover, because, well, it sucks balls.

like I said... its up to randy if he thinks he can get it together between now and October, I'm sure many people who buy the book would pay a little extra for a tribute cd so the cd will go out to a large group of people.
I am totally on board for making this a package deal... we just need word from him... *slacker*

my version is up and downloadable, I can send a wav version if needed..I changed names on my myspace page so most of the links in the threads from when the tribute was going before are defunct...

The tribute has been at a hault but now I am moving things along... I had an issue where the original glu tribute band page was taken down and lost alot of people... The new page has half of the people I had on the original one... I also have been trying to locate 2 people for their submissions but no luck... That list Asa posted is what I was planning on to work with... A lot of people did offer and have recorded songs but they always sent me links to their myspace page when I needed them in mp3 format... Unless they are downlable it didn't make the cut... Also I rather have an mp3 of it since dowloading it from myspace takes away from the quality...

Ahh Nathan... That was his name... His cover is amazing... And I have no way of contacting them at all... Like I said after they took down the original music tribute page I lost many contacts...
