Dave from Depech Mode isn't dead or that was a clone on stage. He had a drug habit in the late 90's. He didn't OD, he attempted suicide by slashing his wrists. There is an interview with him about the incident on

I read that he really liked David's music and wanted him to tour with them but because David was still having problems with drugs he could'nt be around.
David got clean and it probably would have happened. That would have been the ####!
