i don't know why there would be that impression, but he's in fact, very proud of the music, and very truly grateful to everyone who is touched by it.

Hey Drew. Glad to see you posting on here! Anyway, I think we just kind of feel abondoned now. David was the main communication, and now with him gone, we are just kind of hanging here. Also, its hard to understand for us, why it 'seems' that he wants nothing to do with us, being that we are pretty much the main core GLU followers. Esp. w/ his new project in the works, you would think that he would want our support. I don't really think it all has to do with him not making a statement about David's death, just that now he has been put in the hotseat so to speak. There was alot of interaction with David on here, and now we have none. Maybe Dave was just more personable, and Jeff more shy, I don't know. I do think its great that you're posting on here though. Thanks for your input and stick around! Its nice to have a first hand perspective on things, and we kind of lost that a month ago.

Yeah Fiveliter is in the ballpark..... But I must say that Jeff has responded to me before..... I think its more of the lines of the content of the email....

yeah thats alot of responsibility to take on.. i think we all miss dave and were hoping jeff could fill his shoes.. hey even drew came by and posted but you know glu is stil in our hearts and minds if glu wasnt we wouldnt come and post everyday right?

OH IM dieing to hear new material from Jeff.... He has a myspace page for WAW but nothing updated yet.....

I gotta tell you. Back in the GLU days, I got the chance to meet Jeff and he was one of nicest people I had ever met. It was during a radio sponsored concert in which there were some pretty big bands playing and I had figured out a way to get backstage. Actually believe it or not, a member of Creed helped me get back there.

He was probably shocked that I could care less about his band and wanted to meet GLU. So I found them sitting there eating and went up and started talking to Jeff. He was incredibly nice and seemed genuinely happy to hear a fan of his. Just then a security guard saw me and started flipping out at me. Jeff then yelled at the security guard to chill out and leave me alone. The guard then walked away. After a few more minutes of talking I then left back into the crowd.

Anyways, my thoughts are that Jeff is probably just a bit upset about the situation with Dave and the fact that GLU never got their due respect. I'm sure he's thankful for his fans.

Fiveliter you are right, we are all feeling a little lost without Dave and that is where this is stemming from. It's all good we are here and of course I am sure Jeff is here in some way or another. I guess we can let this go and just look forward to Rx and WAW and other things. Have a good Holiday to all!
