I just watched the Amityville Horror last night. I've never seen the original, so I don't know how it compares to it, or the book. But I was pretty creeped out by the end of the night. pretty good flick. I also saw "The Darkness" on Starz this past weekend and it was good as well. It was sort of slow, the plot gets progressively better, and the climax was pretty wild. I would suggest both of these, and if anyone knows how was the original Amityville Horror?

yeah I know, that's a crazy price for a DVD. I always browse the cheap dvd' bins at wal-mart but at target you just have to look at everything. and see if you run into a cheap dvd endcap or something. I really am a cheap bastard.

Yeah I am not cheap but I am careful where I spend money.... Therefore I joined Netflix and now burn any movie I want..... Needless to say I save money from renting and buying dvds.....

I'd say I'm cheap to a certain extent. that would probably be a better way to describe myself. With DVD's it better have some extra's on it. or be ridiculously good. otherwise, I may just wait till it's cheaper. I wish I had a dvd burner. I remember getting all the goodstuff recorded to tape back in the day. 2 big ass vcr's sitting on top of eachother. recording predator 2. -=sigh=-

Go on eby you can get one for less than $50 bucks.... Some great deals for even $20 and its easy to install..... 2 wires and thats all..... The power cable and the port to communicate the computer with the burner...... Sorry but I am not a computer expert so thats the best way I can describe it......

Yeah its very simple..... If you ever installed a car stereo its similar setup..... Just unplug your old cd rom and plug in the burner..... Same type of installation.....

prices have been coming down for blank dvds.. of course double layer(DL) are quite expensice at 3/$10, but single layer, u can get a 25 pack on sale for about 8-$10 which is rather cheap... circuit city/ best buy or staples...
