Haha I think Flipper's hilarious. They have this live LP called Public Flipper Limited that I have with a song called "Southern California", and in the intro to it he's like "Last night we were in the studio, working up some new material, and we came up with this new song, it's caused by the the environment we were in at the time, this one's called "There's No Place As Bad As Southern California", and I think we're all feeling it tonight..." I also think their song "Ever" could be the best punk song ever. Next of course to the Clash's "White Riot", "Rudie Can't Fail", and "Spanish Bombs".

These are bands I like as bands. Most of what Medicated has in his list i like in terms of some of the bands songs. Their albums lack a few things that would make them great. A few songs here and there...

I actually really agree with you there. It is VERY rare where I find a band where I like an entire album, and MUCH rarer when I like all of their albums.

Have you guys heard Bluebob?? It's nuts, it's actually David Lynch (the eccentric and great director) and a guy named John Neff. It's like blues-industrial-folk fusion, David Lynch sings. Supposedly during the album, he held his guitar upside down, with the neck between his legs, and improvised most of the feedback and riffs. I had no idea he was talented at music. I love his movies... Well, at least, I liked Twin Peaks (TV), Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway and Eraserhead. I HATE Wild At Heart (Nicolas Cage is terrible in it), I haven't seen the one he made about the dude on the tractor (I think it's called The Short Story or something), and I think some his really early stuff is bad. I might be forgetting some of his other movies...

dude, the movie rocks. I loved the original, and I liked the sci-fi mini-series to a certain extent. I liked the children of dune better than the original mini-series. But I really don't think they hold a note to the original. the weirding modules rock...hardcore.
