My mini surprise is I'm going to try to have the "Christ of the abyss" as a fold out and be six times larger than it normally was... and list the albums and track listings of the originals with some pics of dave in jeff on in the background.... and i already turned it blue... no one seemed to like the green haha, but if i cant get it to work and look right it will go back on the front again.
As for the track listing this is just a jumbled list of all the artists that "can" be on it, its NOWHERE near final and the only real reason i have it on there is to judge spacing and the "look" of it as a whole... im having trouble importing fonts in photo shop

okay, are you running windows? i'll assume you are. i am about to import some myself, so, i'll take you along with me...

here, hold my hand.


okay, let's assume that you are going to download some of the internet, if so, then

download the font to your desktop (makes for easy findin's)
extract the files to the desktop (as they are usually zipped or rared.)
go ahead and delete the original compressed file if you want. BUT DO NOT DELETE THE TRUE TYPE FILES.

then...
(this is where you would join us if you already had the files you wanted)

drag and drop the files into
C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

VOila!!

photoshop should automatically have them once you restart it.

this is just the font thing i wanted to show you. i could.'t find the exact fonts, but i manipulated a couple to come close.

and you cover looks far better.... i only spent like 10 min on it in the first place though also what font did you use for the "god lives under" i cant seem to find anything like it...

well, it's not the same as the litscsa font, so i used one called "BN Year 2000" and then edited it a little to get it to look a little more like litscsa. added some lines here and there.

i got it from, idk, like Free Fonts dot com or something. are you on aim? if so, i can send it to you.

Randy and I have not decided on a track listing order yet, that is purely for artwork and placement/font. In fact we were actually talking on putting the songs in order as they appear on each album (so all the ep songs first, empty songs, Life etc).

Also, Luke, can you remove the word "Take" from "Take Whatever You Got?" I know I'm nit picking but the song title was actually edited to just "Whatever You Got" for the official release.

ya thats what i was saying...
no problem, its good to have the gurus of all things GLU look it over cuz i REALLY suck at the small details

Also note that if you submitted 2 tracks, that both most likely will not be on the tribute... If we get more than 16-17 tracks then the best quality tracks will be on the tribute... If everyone does what they say we will have over 20 tracks... I have a few submissions that I will take outside of this board... They don't log on here but they are big fans of GLU and one of them claims he knew Dave... He was suppose to do bass tracks for I think How Humans Rx... So far I can't really verify this but hey you never know...
