my band just played 2 shows with Randy's band in FL this month... we had a long talk about the Tribute. He said that it is his #1 priority now that his band's album is finally out. He promises a release soon... I told him there better be because there is about to be a mutiny soon, lol.

Hey Brian, I'm working on mixing vocals for my Happy cover and just wanted to get the ok from you. I clipped a bit of audio from the TT the Bears show from the cd I had and put it and the end of my cover. Its just David talking over the piano part. Just wanted to make sure it was cool with you that I did this. The song still needs work but I thought Dave's voice in it personalized it a little more. Let me know if it's cool. Thanks

From Randy:
Right now for the GLU tribute trying to see if this damn print place can do me a favor and do the fold out poster for the artwork that Luke has done... Chris is working on this for me... Chris from Toxic... This is the time where I plan to focus ALOT on the GLU Tribute so I can release it before my kid comes... lol

This is just getting crazy at this point. I pretty much expect this to be released around the 5th of never at the rate things are going.

Besides, 128 is not semi-low. It is low.

well whats a fair bit rate i can upload while still giving everyone good reason to buy the tribute cd on the 4th of never

really think about it.
i believe in sharing not hording, yet i don't want anyone pissed. life is not about money.
years have passed, still at this point most of the artists haven't even heard others take on the song.

Randy's e-mail:
Sorry for the late response. I was suppose to meet with Chris from Toxic Shock records to get everything together and finished for the Tribute. However, he postponed to this Friday now since he had to work last Friday. I will get you an update after I meet with him. I am paying for the cost and pretty much paying him for whatever expenses come from his side so let me have the meeting with him and I will have this done.

what i got from that is wait for a while... again. no offense but that don't answer my question.
my Joined date: "Thu Mar 01, 2007" I've been working on it ever since. the majority of work got done in between mid 07 and 08 because i bugged the #### out of everyone... and guess what #### got done. After i went back to school i figured you guys could push it out but no... Its just been stuck for the past year. i'm one of the only people other than randy and probably you that's actually heard more than 4 songs. most of the people who care about it are the ones making it. if they get a free copy what difference does having a sneak peek make?
...Think of it like this. I was a 15 year old kid when i joined. I'm one month away from being 18, thinking of college. That's over 1/16th of my life. I thought you guys were kidding when talking about GLU having a curse getting albums out hahaha.
