Yes - we are planning on releasing the album.
There will be some finishing work required by the producer,
and no doubt some legal wranglings with the family/heirs,
but we do not forsee any difficulties with either.

No set date for the release yet, but I would not expect it to
be any sooner than March of 2006, but as soon as possible.
It will be distributed through Fontana as originally planned.
But again, nothing solid as of this moment.

Thanks for your continued interest and support.

BTW: The funeral was, of course, sad, but also very appropriate,
with much talk of music, as it should have been.

I am kinda hoping this is going to be his "Makaveli" album....ya know, even though he is gone, the record company keeps coming up with enough content to make like 2-3 albums after it.

Tupac isn't dead, he's just being held hostage to make royalty free albums.

No decisions have been made on a single yet.

There are a few tracks that were deemed "completed".
[I don't have the disc with me - it's in my car right now.]
Maybe five or six that are 100% done?
There are at least a couple more that the producer will be finishing
over the next month or so - I think they have "scratch" vocals
at least, so he will work with what he has.

We do still need to work things out with management and family,
but as I said before - we don't forsee any problems.

I am personally very glad that we are proceeding with this record.
The worst thing to happen at this point would have been to shelve
this recording.

> Thanks again for your time.

Sure Tom - no trouble at all.
I'll also try to put updates on the ruffnation.com website as things
develop.
