Scraps

Anyone who writes/records music knows that every now and then, you start writing a song or play with some ideas and eventually they fizzle out. usually these files become backlogged and fade into obscurity. Looking at my hard drive, I have maybe a hundred or so of these types of files. Less than 25 % ever made it to a semi-finished product. Sometimes the rejects are the most creative and insightful. So my question is, will anything ever be done with David's scraps(if there are any)? Would it be disrespectful to ask to hear them? Or maybe even go as far as to assemble a team to mix and revive them? I suppose this is a personal/ethical question for those who were closest to him, I don't know how he or they would respond. He was the one person I always dreamed I would one day get to meet in person, but never had the opportunity.

a while ago, i seem to remember a skinny puppy disc (or discs) being released that was basically just a collection of samples and bits of audio.

that would be bad ass to be able to do remixes or totally new stuff with Davids voice but i highly doubt that anyone would let you and i think it would also be very illegal.

yeah, we can't even get the regular record out, much less all of his audio post-its.

Unless one of us does have the money to buy the rights of the new album from the record label and release it the way it is...

I don't know bro... They might not think they can make money off of it... I wish an indie label would pick it up then...
