and doing the backing vocals on a number of DR's songs? What's her story, how'd she hook up to do some work with Dave? Sorry if this has been discussed before.

remember those videos of david in the studio? there was one of him flying a plane too...? he mentioned it on one of those vids but i can't remember what he said.

she is a is a singer from NY that David was producing her debut album. There is a whole section in the book that talks about Brittany and David working with her.
She did the back up vocals on: Love Will Complicate, My Till Tomorrow, and Crazier Than Me
if you wanna check out her own material that David produced, she is on the Top Friends list of the book's myspace page...
