Drowning in Air: The tribute to GLU is this ever coming out?
It never came with my book. The receipt said it should be coming in the mail shortly and that was half a year ago.

according to Randy, everything is finished except the booklet needs to be printed...

everyone who bought the Mantis Package is getting the first copies... unless something goes horribly wrong, I expect them to start shipping August 1st.

maybe i'm wrong here, tell me if i am, but i think that anyone who contributed should be getting a comp copy of it. not a download, not a cd-r, but a full comped copy. maybe you'll say, oh, but all the money is going to a good cause. that's right. it is. and i'm proud to be a part of that. however, and again correct me if i'm wrong, without the people that contributed, there would be no tribute cd to help this cause. correct? i don't mean to sound rude here, but normally, that's how this goes.

again, i apologise if i sound like a c0ck.

Actually, I believe that was randy's intentions... if your band made the cut, you got a free copy and also possibly more copies to sell on your own at shows or to friends etc

unfort. no special "easter eggs" in the Tribute, at this point we are lucky it even got off the ground in the first place, lol

seriously. i remember maybe, 4 (?) years ago, me and randy first started shuffling the idea around, on one of the old boards. At this point, it should be considered an official glu release with all of the time it has been taking. Although, I am glad to have been a part of this, no matter what happens with it.

no... just.. no...
we all know its taking longer to produce than duke nukem forever
see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_Nukem_Forever
i had like 3/4 the songs for over a year and the past 6 months i have heard exactly... nothing.
my best guess: Release date(s) "When it's done."
i know buzzkill right? :|
