Hiya everybody,
I've been a long time GLU fan and just re-stumbled upon this website. In the process of getting ready to move I came across a copy of a tape i made of this show. I am right now in the process of converting it from the tape to a .WAV file, but really don't know what I'm doing. The transfer from tape to PC is going to be pretty easy from what it looks like but I know there are ways to edit the sound to make it better. Once I get this all transferred is there anyone out there that i could send this to to help me out. I can make it into .FLAC if that's easier, but planned on if nothing else making it into .mp3 to get it out there for ya'll.
Thanks for any help you guys can offer

Personally, I use Goldwave (http://goldwave.com/release.php) to edit my audio files.

It's free and pretty simple to use; the pop/click filer and equalizer are nice for live audio.

I'll be happy with 'raw' files though.

Ok so the whole show is being uploaded as I type, I encoded it into 320kbps .mp3 files, but didn't do any editing of the files other than eliminate dead space when the tape was flipped on the original. I do have the raw .wav file if anyone wants it to try and take a crack at improving the audio, overall tho it came out a lot better than I thought it would.
Next time I am at my mom's house I'm going to see if i can track down some other shows that I had from back in the day to see if they held up over the past 10 years.
Otherwise I hope you all enjoy!

the only song they ever covered live? Yes, the only song they ever recorded? No:

Fame, Fly On The Windscreen, Fame

the Appendix in my book breaks all of that down

sweet deal. I was so pissed when I went to see them at the Pontiac Grill show in Philly cause the venue taped it and was supposed to sell the video...turned out there was a problem with their recording equipment that night, ah well. My buddy has a VHS tape of the solo show in Boston, he sat on the stage and recorded it. Im sure most people have the audio from that cd already. I wish I woulda recorded some of the Fluzee or other solo shows but the memories are still great.

ya, I have a DVD version of the TTs Show (and most people have the CD version because it is offered as an add-on with my book)

i know in the 90's especially, it seemed like every band, no matter how popular, had hundreds of #### bootlegs floating around. We have what...? In the Zone and the Roxy? And then, The radio gigs, and some other #### (besides ItZ and Roxy, i just put it all together on one boot), but are there any more shows floating that anyone has and could kindly put on the ftp, also, maybe some hi quality video on Pirate bay or something? please?

wow, it has been 10 years, makes me feel old. I was listening to the show on my ipod the other night and thought Id share a little tidbit with people who may have the show on cd or plan to get it (with the purchase of Brian's book of course, *plug plug).
After Dave plays 23 (aka 30) and right before he goes on his little rant about Tom and Jerry, which still cracks me up to this day, you hear me say "Barrio Raiders!" Then Dave follows with a laugh and says, "I am the head of the Barrio Raiders." I started thinking that there may be some other fans out there wondering what the hell that was referring to. For those couple people out there who might have wondered at some point...
Basically me and a couple friends were driving him up to the Cambridge show from Philly and stopped at this redneck Burger King that I swear was nothing more that a converted trailer home. The way I remember it there was no inside, you just had an order window and there was a nasty bathroom that was set aside from the "Burger King" If you ask me, someone just stole the logo, put it on their trailer and sold burgers from it. I think it was in Connecticut somewhere. I also remember a few lovely ladies sportin' some sweet fem-mullets and a bad ass biker gang. The bikers consisted of 4 or 5 men of spanish origin and came with all the essentials, the Harleys, the leather chaps, the pony tails, the boots, and matching jackets. Of course, me and my friends being the douchebags that we are couldnt stop laughing at the beddazled lettering on the back which read "BARRIO RAIDERS". Dave found this extremely funny and we agreed we would join the gang just to help them expand a little bit. Dave of course was the Head of the Barrio Raiders. So there you have it. That trailer park and mexican biker gang is forever embedded in my memory. I don't think ever called Dave by his name again after that day, it was always Barrio or DLU haha. My copy of LITSCSA is even signed To: Barrio From: The Head. haha priceless. I miss that day...
