Song: Alone Again
By: God Lives Underwater
Album: Life in the So-Called Space Age
Tabbed by: Justin Muschinske
Tuning: Drop D (DADGBE)

Okay... this is my first tabbing in a while, so here goes.
I couldn't believe there weren't any GLU songs on OLGA!

The first bass (keyboard actually) riff is this:

And then the guitar and weird keyboard stuff comes in.
The main guitar riff is this (palm mute the 6th string notes)

Play this through the verse and between verses and choruses.
Sometimes there's palm muted open 6th string notes instead
of the D power chords.

The chorus part is this:

-5-5-5--5-5-6x, then-3-3-3--3-3--1-1-1--1-1----------------|

(verse 1)
The past few years have been so trying
Between the drugs and the drinking and the touring
And in my eyes I'm stabilized
And all I need is you, someone who understands

I know you now, the shortest yet
And we've just met
I thought that you'd be different, then again
You came off strange but still the same as what I know
I try and try and then I'm alone again

(verse 2)
Now my life's become a challenge
Because my confidence has been decreased profoundly
And in my mind I realize
I'm stuck on a worthless hill, with no one who understands

(repeat chorus)

(verse riff interlude)

(repeat chorus)

(outro with guitar playing chorus part)

And that's it! Enjoy. I'll be tabbing other GLU songs and other
stuff soon.
