Hey y'all, if anyone is still here.

I just wanted to stop in and take a moment to talk about Brittany Garrison, who, after a terrible medical emergncy is, at the moment of writing, in a coma and has been taken off life support.

I met Brittany here in these forums twenty years ago, almost to the day. She was an active and loved member of this community and was an incredibly sweet and thoughtful person, and an extremely talented singer and musician.

She recorded some post-GLU David Reilly material with him at her home studio iirc, and was close with him. Hell, she was close with everyone she knew. She was just a very loving and good person.

I never met her in person, though we planned multiple times, life got in the way. We stayed in regular contact and she was a vocal supporter of my work (as I assume she was with all of the artists she knew). We recorded a cover of "From Your Mouth" for the Drowning in Air tribute a long time ago together, and I really wish I had the chance to get a full album with her.

If anyone is reading this, and was here during those days or knew her otherwise, please take a moment to share your experiences with Brit. I'm sure many of you have great ones.

We're going to miss you Brit. Thank you for letting me know you. <3

I have added a memorial to her in the "Dreams Are Unfinished Thoughts: Rush Is Loud Edition" that's coming out early 2026.
