wow people cmon... Jeff isnt ashamed and he dosnt want to nor try to forget about the past.. but what he does realize is that it is the past... Jeff is simply a busy father and husband who is making a living producing bands.... hes just a busy busy guy.... thats it.

Understandable Tre but Jeff can atleast say to us the fans thanks for everything but he still hasn't chosen to talk to us.... I mean more on the lines of the fans.... Not individually.... Some of us have talked to him..... But I mean a simple Thanks for being my fans of my work.... I think thats what the board means...... Ofcourse correct me if I am wrong on that......

Personally I think him not responding is his choice, but I find it a little rude, especially cause GLU fans like us are the people who put him on the map and funded his fame and fortune. Not that he really has much fame and fortune, but without us he probably wouldn't be where he is today.

i nderstand how you guys feel but i think you are taking it a tad too personal. when dave was alive he never replied to my msgs directly...
but that might be different i dont know

I am not taking it personally but I think he should just say hi and thanks thats all..... I mean I can't say anything bad about Jeff.... He has answered some emails I sent him..... Dave answered every email I sent him....

Dave answered the most retarded messages I could send.

This was a topis of conversation on the old board. Some post about Turzo the hermit keeping his turds in a jar. I think everyone remembers this. So it is not like it has not come up before and has not been a topic for like 5 years now.

Ok let me straighten this out. No one is mad at Jeff. We understand he is busy. It is simply a little disappointing that he didn't put in a few words after David died. We are not mad at him or anything. No one is emotional. So there you go. I think that clears it up.

no i knew that but i think its more of rick wanting to be able to say yeah JEFF REPLIED TO ME!! YAY! and yeah damn id love that too but cuz im a chick and i think he used to be mad hot with dreadlocks but --of course-- thats probably not one of the reasons that rick wants to talk to him muahahahaha

hey everybody,

i come by here every few weeks or so, but don't post much (this is the third time i've reg'd actually in order to post) mostly because the conversation is about dave and jeff, and though the three of us are very close friends, even years before there was ever GLU, and i could answer a lot of questions everyone here has, it's not my place to speak for them in a forum like this, so i keep my mouth shut.

having said that, i feel bad that people are hurt that jeff hasn't spoken here regarding dave's passing. please, please understand that this is a very difficult time for all of us. words are very hard to come by, they simply don't fully explain the sense of sadness and loss we feel. i feel like i've lost a limb or something, i don't know, it's just...####. we have a hard time even talking with each other about it, so, i don't know...

please don't mistake the lack of posts regarding the situation as a slight. i just don't think anyone knows exactly what to say. a signifigant part of our lives is gone, and it's all a bit too much to take.

p.s. as for jeff not responding to emails, join the club. he never responds to 'em. it's a bit of a laugh among us actually. you gotta call him up to get a response to an email. funny. anyway, don't take it personally.

as far as i'm concerned the day God Lives Underwater broke up, it simply lost it's founding members. GLU will never die, David Reilly will never be gone because of our love for him and that love that he shared for us. We all love and respect Jeff Turzo but i don't think we should worry about wether or not he responds to us because the way i see it, WE ARE god lives underwater. GLU remains alive in us. So jeff can do what he pleases, if it's true that he is ashamed of his past then that's his opinion and he is entitled to it. But we're not ashamed of it, and we'll be here if he decides otherwise or if in fact that is not the case.

in no way is jeff ashamed of the past. at all.
i don't know why there would be that impression, but he's in fact, very proud of the music, and very truly grateful to everyone who is touched by it.
