FuN WiTh BACKWARDS Masking!!

so i wanted to hear some new glu...and since ive been hearing alot about john lennon lately and all them conspiracy theorists talk about message in songs played backwards i opened up audacity to fix some files but then i decided to try flipping some glu songs and see what i found...
(audacity: open up a file, EDIT > select all, then EFFECT >reverse)


all wrong (the part before the chorus normally, but backwards):
(nothing audible) something mix threat,
(nothing audible) nooothing wish you would listen,
this is not asking, a mess,
during up ([or] never again) my arrieee(nothing audible)
(then the solo part sounds so friggin awesome backwards)

there is more but i'll let you guys go listen to it yourselves...

here we go now version 1 (ripped from the armadasoundsys. mp3)
chorus backwards:
(sounds very middleeastern-y backwards)

[the first verse is really weird backwards]

bk'wd's masking rule of thumb:
if you take a song you REALLY REALLY love and play it backward it always sounds equaly awesome the other way around

No, what is really fun is this. Flip the song and learn the notes in that order. Play and record the song backwards. Now take that and flip it. You will get a homemade version that if done correctly is the song playing forward with backwards masking effects.

Oh you need to be able to play some intruments.

Or just record it to an old school 4 track and flip the tape backwards and just listen to it......
