Memoirs of David Reilly being written by close friend
[press release]
Since the rise and fall of the band God Lives Underwater, David Reilly developed a lot of friendships with many people along the way. One of them being Brian Paone, a Massachusetts native who discovered GLU in 1995 while listening to a local radio station. In a fateful turn of events, he crossed paths with David Reilly in June of that year, beginning an eventful, and very deep 10 year friendship between the two, transcending beyond the day that David left this world in October 2005....
Knowing how many lives David had touched with his music, Brian has set out to create a memoir, not from the point of view of a fan, but of someone who knew Dave personally. In this novel, he will chronicle many events of their lives that they shared during the high- and the low-points of those 10 years.

hey everyone, please check the myspace page frequently if you are interested in the book...I promise to post a minimum of 1 update a week in the form of a blog with the progress of whats heppening. I have a lot of "people in high places" who not only gave me their blessing, but have jumped on the project above and beyond my expectations. Hopefully as I get closer to completing the book, the updates will be for frequent.
Also, any comments or questions please either leave them on the myspace page, or send me a message through the page...
thanks

please, any comments or suggestions leave them for me by sending me a message on the myspace page...
I dont check here very often and I would hate to miss something that someone suggested, this is a great idea!! honestly!!
and also, can we just have conversations about the novel in the OTHER thread that is on this board about it so its all under 1 topic, it will be easier for me to check on and reply to. I would like to either merge this thread with the other one, or let this one die and just have the one thats a "poll" that Hilary started.
But yes, I absolutely will entertain that idea of the personal notes in the beginning (or the ending) of the book.
