well I mixed this track like 6 times and now I think I have a good mix...you can check out the new version at www.soundclick.com/plastinum
and I will have a hi-fi version on soundclick soon since the mp3 on myspace does lose a little of the high end when it is encoded..for some reason

thanks for the feedback guys..I am glad you dug the track...I take the layne staley as a compliment..I used to play/sing in a few garage/cover bands and we did a lot of GLU, AIC, STP, Faith no More and others so I guess in developing my own stuff the influences (even subconsciously) creep through..I think back on it now and wonder what Layne could have done vocally had he done some solo or collabs with electronic or industrial artists..even though he did so stuff away from AIC it was all pretty straight forward rock...also kinda depresses me to think all the good music/musicians I like are either dead and/or broken up....good to know they contributed something to so many people and I have a little piece of them that shows in what I try to do...new tracks to come soon if you guys care to listen..will keep you posted

p.s there's one new version of CC up now with a final compression tweak and a funky fade in on the beginning of the song..if you wanna listen let me know what this is like (better or worse)
