Hey everyone, I was talking to my friend tracie last night about the artwork i wanted to contribute to the GLU tribute album.
I have a few ideas...but i get overwelmed, and i get to ctitical of myself.
I want to do artwork for this that means something....and is intitially important.
I was a friend of David Reilly, met him on myspace...and talked to him almost every day last summer(2005).
I get overwelmed cuz i still get really sad about his passing.....and i want to do something to tribute him.

Anyway,
here is some ruff scetches i've been workking on.....it's really nothing, but given time...i can do something with it all....

back when David first told of plans of his album "how humans rx", i came up with these sketches.

It was supposed to be david in a field or something....and in the background was an old radio station.....not sure what i was going with here.....and i never got to show David......soo i'm showing all of you

goddamn, you should draw a glu cartoon. i love the way you draw them. David all lanky and thin, jeff kinda round with sharp features. The radio station idea reminds of that old kids show back in the 80's. WTF was that? they like took over this old abandoned radio station, and broadcast themselves doing pop songs, kinda like the 80's version of Kidz Bop.

but i especiall likethe one with the thick black outlines and features of the two of them.

I definitly like that cd cover idea, it looks really good. The way you portray David is really neat, Also the one in ink, with Jeff on the right and David on the left is very well done.

yes assamorris.....it's supposed to be a mantis tattoo.....i have the mantis tatto'd on my side....but i figured it be sexier on a lady....soo my girlfriend posed for me
