Tribute cd

there will be a few surprises in our version of Miss You More Than Anything:

- a soundbite of David making fun of me on stage when he played in Boston in 2001 dropped in the middle of the song

- we added a 3rd verse to the song, and the lyrics to the 3rd verse is the chorus to "Positivity"

- there is a quick soundbite to end the song of David in the studio while GLU was recording Life In The So Called Space Age thanking Jeff after Jeff complemented him on something he wrote on the spot.

damn it. the end of my from your mouth cover has a clip of Jeff talking about david very highly.

so?? thats completely different, and I think the more clips that are on the tribute cd the more authentic it will be... especially if you have heard the "intro" that was written as well.

yes, Mike is working on the outro however I am not sure if he is including actual sound clips from David or Jeff speaking (like mine, your intro, and asa's tracks have).... he might be doing something slightly different to end the cd but still in the atmosphere of the Intro.

Basically david just gave me some ideas on mixing guitars, puching the vocals up a little, stuff like that ..he didn't play on the song or anything, I sent him some clips, we talked via email/aim and he checked it out when he was talking to me about coming up to Philly to play/audition ...could have been a couple days, could have been a couple weeks before he passed......I can't recall....I finished it after he passed and so he had some input but the song isn't about him or anything. I haven't even listened to it in forever so if it suxs really bad or anything sorry...

I really loved the intro and looking forward to the outro... Yeah its not a bad idea to include clips... I got an idea for my song now with this talk... Thanks...
