Doom : The Movie

Post by LordOfDays »

Gayest idea ever.

Doom games were amazing. They took ultraviolence to a whole new level. Doom 95 man. Awesome.

Doom the movie....

Why the rock. Worst idea ever. "Hey let's put The Rock in a movie"

NOOOO

I am honestly ashamed that the idea of this being a movie crossed anyones mind.

Who else is in it? If Jessica Alba is in it i will flip ####. Fantastic four? Didn't see it. But the trailer gave me the impression that it was all a big joke. If the trailer shows that none, and i mean NONE of the actors can act. It sucks. No amount of Nudity or Explosions can make up for that.

So. If anyone sees Doom, give me one reason why that movie won't make me kill myself.

Yeah man it shoulda been Bruce Willis or Harry Dean Stanton or Kyle McLaughlin or somethin like that.

Doom games owned, I have this program called Doom Legacy that adds a crosshair, mouselook, jump, and enchaced graphics and sound to the old doom games (including Heretic, Hexen, etc. anything with .wad files) ... You should check it out.

That is why I wanted to see Doom but for some reason I didn't.... I rather see it when it comes on dvd.... However I read in ET that the Omen is being remade.... It will be out on June 6, 2006 and its called The Omen:666..... Hopefully its good.... I just recently saw Amityville the newest one.... It still isn't as spooky as the one I own on DVD from the late '70's early '80's......

ammityville. heh. i doubt i could ever be freaked out by a movie about a hoax... i'm more scared by intentional fiction than something that's based on a fiction that was originally intended to be believed as fact.

doom movie, lame idea, any sort of movie from a video game or anything else sucks. dungeons and dragons, anyone? i was disappointed with resident evil and final fantasy, too. although alot of people liked those. i remember they were going to make a duke nukem movie and were thinking of putting the rock in that #### too. if they make a half life movie and #### that #### up, im gonna hurt someone

they really are silvercrank, that's why a majority of the mainstream movies that hit theaters these days are freaking remakes of older movies, hollywood needs new blood pumped into it, everything has become stale...There hasn't been very many original ideas in my humble opinion, "Hostel" being, as far as recent movies go, original and different. But this could also be attributed to the fact that I haven't seen a good Horror movie in years.

Isn't that one of those movies about gay cowboys eating pudding? Who let it out of the indie movie section?

I just saw some previews for the doom movie. It looked pretty cheesy....I might rent it but I sure won't buy it.

The last movie that really blew me away was the matrix( yeah, been a while). There's a few here and there like transporter 2 and Man on Fire that were good flix... The first SAW was good. The last movie I saw was.... Dark Water. It was soooo LAME they could have told the whole story as a 40 second commercial, which would have saved them a bundle and saved me 2 hours of my life.
