GLU/ DR tabs?

Post by BarrioRaiders »

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has made any acoustic guitar or piano tabs for any GLU or David songs. One that comes to mind that seems really easy would be Ordinary Man from the TT the Bears show. I just suck at figuring stuff out. Can anyone help me out with that one? Any tabs would be cool though.

I think that GlU scares most tab makers because of the recorded effects they play with, I've been trying to cover some GLU songs but found while notes are correct from a tab but the rhythm is really off, I would use tabs as a basis then play along to the song to find out what's correct. Once I complete some more correct tabs I'll add them

Meh, not everyone knows anymore music theory than just tabs, most don't know how to read sheet music, and not everyone's ears are trained enough to dissect the polyphony of GLU, If you want to chip in and know how to write chord progressions or sheet music I can convert to tab so that any level musician can try playing the songs that'd be great. Tabs also give a good basis to help people determine things like key (obviously unless it's atonal) and could make learning to play by ear easier since once a key is known you can get a list of chords that would fit into said tonality (most songs fit into pretty simple chord progressions that would be easily traceable).
