i saw a couple of movies that i really got into...not the way the matrix did but still... there was one i got on dvd with denzel washington...and then another one OOH SYRIANA!! tTHAT IS SUCH A #### GOOD MOVIE OMFG\\and i saw good night and good luck too, that good in a different sory of way... oh and fun with dick and jane is funny, but it sort of sucks cuz that what life felt like back in 2003...hahahaha....

i still want to see the matador with pierce brosnan, and um big momman's house 2 and hmm Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe memoirs of a geisha. i read that book. i thought it was kinda strange that a guy wrote ti (i know its fiction) but still it explains a lot of their weird parts of that book...
-----------------
AND what is all this hype abotu brokeback mountain. ooh gay people. so #### what. whoopdee ding. like they are some special thing that never happens. ugh. anyway. syrianan never even got nominated cuz stupid brokeback mountain was all the rage. wtf. i think a movie loosely based on the truth deserves more attention than that... but that is my own beef...

Finally saw the doom movie. I really don't get why anyone would be angry with this movie, I mean going into any sort of modern media one shouldn't have any preconcieved ideas of what you want it to be or else you're going to end up being dissappointed with everything. I started watching this movie with the idea that the acting was probably going to suck at parts, their was going to be alot of gimmicks and flashy effects, and of course, i knew the rock was going to make me mad. But I found that I kind of just went with it andfound it was actually enjoyable. it's not going to be a great epic story and battle, I mean, ####, the original game was pretty much just some marine on mars killing ####. And the story dynamics and gameplay was far surpassed by a game that came out before it (system shock), So we aren't really watching a movie based on a game known for it's complex story line. So we can't really expect alot from this movie. Although I did like alot of things about it. I thought the set design and the creatures were done well, the musical score was so-so, And I thought that first person sequence at the end was #### cool. Of course i didn't pay money to see it, and I probably will never watch this movie again, but it's a good movie that's entertaining the first time through if your at a buddies house and he made the mistake of buying it. Other than that, wait till it premiers on cable or something...

okaaay...did you listen to yourself? i dont think that is possiblefor everyone to take all the ideas and influences they have ever had and erase them everytime something new comes out and end up being mentally 'blank-slate'. thats completely impossible.

and the premise of a movie based on a video game, is wicked dumb. look at tomb raider. ok angelina jolie just happenes to be a good actrss but otherwise that movie is a bit bland...

well you can't always get what you want, is what im saying. yes video game movies aren't going to be the greatest, and you kind of got to go with that fact. it's not going to be the end all be all movie of the year and the rock isnt going to win a #### emmy for his hamfisted prtrayel of a #### marine on mars, but it can still be entertaining. I'm just saying every movie doesnt have to be a masterpiece to be enjoyed. you just got to except it for what it is.
